2626 An Act relative to prescription opioid abuse prevention education.
2727 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2828 of the same, as follows:
2929 1 SECTION 1. Section 1 of chapter 71 of the general laws, as so appearing in the 2018
3030 2edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “violence”, in line 22, the following
3131 3words:- “, prescription opioid abuse prevention, with an emphasis on the prescription drug
3232 4epidemic and the connection between prescription opioid abuse and addiction to other drugs,
3333 5such as heroin,”.
