to the consolidation of Inspector General annual reports. State Administration and Regulatory 
Oversight.

An Act relative to the consolidation of Inspector General annual reports.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority 
of the same, as follows:
1 SECTION 1. Section 9 of Chapter 6C of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2020 
2Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking subsection (e) and inserting in place thereof the 
3following subsection:- 
4 (e) The director shall submit to the inspector general, for inclusion in the annual report 
5required by section 12 of chapter 12A, a report of the unit's activities for the preceding calendar 
6year, including, but not limited to, findings referred to the inspector general for investigation. 
7The inspector general shall submit the annual report to the joint committee on transportation on 
8or before April 30 of each year. The secretary shall make the annual report and all such reports 
9from previous years available on the department's website.
10 SECTION 2. Section 72 of Chapter 22C of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby 
11amended by striking subsection (e) and inserting in place thereof the following subsection:-  2 of 2
12 (e) The director shall submit to the inspector general, for inclusion in the annual report 
13required by section 12 of chapter 12A, a report of the unit's activities for the preceding calendar 
14year including, but not limited to, findings referred to the inspector general for investigation. The 
15inspector general shall submit the annual report to the joint committee on public safety and 
16homeland security on or before April 30 of each year. The department shall make the annual 
17report and all such reports 	from previous years available on the department's website.
