2626 An Act relative to routine childhood immunizations.
2727 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2828 of the same, as follows:
2929 1 Section 15 of chapter 76 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2020 Official Edition,
3030 2is hereby amended by striking out the third paragraph and inserting in place thereof the following
3131 32 paragraphs:-
3232 4 All schools, whether public, private, or charter, that provide education to children in any
3333 5combination of grade levels from kindergarten to grade 12, inclusive, shall annually report to the
3434 6department total numbers of children who are successfully immunized in accordance with
3535 7section 15 of chapter 76 and who are exempted from immunization requirements. The
3636 8department shall designate the methodology for reporting.
3737 9 The department shall annually publish and make publicly available aggregate
3838 10immunizations and exemptions data for each school and school district, provided, that publishing
3939 11and making publicly available such data shall not be required if it would result in disclosure of
4040 12personal information as defined in section 1 of chapter 93H or otherwise violate applicable 2 of 2
4141 13privacy laws. The department may also publish data by municipality, county, or other geographic
4242 14designation, or otherwise in its discretion.
