Chapter 111 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 72BB the

treatment of the gender-related identity, consistent and uniform assertion of the gender-related
identity or any other evidence that the gender-related identity is sincerely held as part of a 2 of 9
person’s core identity; provided, however, that gender-related identity shall not be asserted for
any improper purpose.
"Gender-nonconforming", a person whose gender expression does not conform to
stereotypical expectations of that person's gender.
"Gender transition", a process in which a person begins to live according to that person's

"Intersex", a person whose sexual or reproductive anatomy or chromosomal pattern is not
consistent with typical definitions of male or female.
