An Act providing for consumer protection in a digital economy.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
of the same, as follows:
1 Chapter 10, as appearing in the 2020 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting
2after section 78 the following section:-
3 Section 79. The office of the state treasurer shall develop and periodically review and
4update a digital module and resources on cryptocurrencies and digital assets to support
5Massachusetts residents with overseeing their finances, understanding money management
6strategies, and protecting their security.
