2929 An Act relative to certain property to be used for conservation or recreational purposes.
3030 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
3131 of the same, as follows:
3232 1 SECTION XX. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the
3333 2department of conservation and recreation shall reclaim the land being more particularly
3434 3bounded and described as follows: Southerly by the northerly line of Belgrade Avenue, fifty-
3535 4seven (57) feet more or less; Westerly by land of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, known
3636 5as West Roxbury Parkway, one hundred twenty (120) feet more or less; Northerly by the
3737 6southerly side line of the location of the New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad, fifty-
3838 7seven (57) feet more or less; and Easterly by land now or formerly of Clay Chevrolet, Inc., one
3939 8hundred twenty-three (123) feet more or less; containing six thousand nine hundred twenty-five
4040 9(6925) square feet more or less pursuant to Chapter 851 of the Acts of 1977 and the plan of land
4141 10file 9096-274. Upon title to said land reverting to the commonwealth the land shall forthwith be 2 of 2
4242 11designated as open space to be used for conservation or recreational purposes subject to the
4343 12department’s continued use of the land for the purpose of sloping, embanking, filling and
4444 13maintaining its remaining land appurtenant to the West Roxbury Parkway.
