| 29 | 29 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | of the same, as follows: |

| 31 | 31 | | 1 (a) Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the Secretary of Energy |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | 2and Environmental Affairs shall perform a study of Kingsbury Pond in the Town of Norfolk. The |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | 3study shall include, but not be limited to, the water levels of the pond, the effect nearby public |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 4wells have on the pond’s water levels, and any and all environmental factors that are affected by |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 5significantly increasing or decreasing water levels of the pond. |

| 36 | 36 | | 6 (b) The Secretary shall report the results of the study by filing a report with the Clerk of |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | 7the Senate; the Clerk of the House of Representatives; the Department of Environmental |
|---|
| 38 | 38 | | 8Protection; and the Joint Committee on Environment, Natural Resources and Agriculture no later |
|---|
| 39 | 39 | | 9than one year after passage of this act. |
