| 29 | 29 | | 1 SECTION 1. This bill may be known as an Act to update the definition leaving the scene |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | 2of an accident a/k/a Katie’s Law. |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | 3 SECTION 2. Section 24 of chapter 90 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2020 |

| 32 | 32 | | 4edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in lines 996 through 999, the following words:- “or |

| 33 | 33 | | 5by imprisonment in a jail or house of correction for not less than one year nor more than two and |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 6one-half years and by a fine of not less than one thousand dollars nor more than five thousand |
