2525 An Act regarding conditions of release in Superior Court.
2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2727 of the same, as follows:
2828 1 SECTION 1. Section 57 of chapter 276 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2020
2929 2Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 12, the word:- and.
3030 3 SECTION 2. Said section 57 of chapter 276 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is
3131 4hereby further amended by inserting, in line 14, after the word “him” the following words:-
3232 5 ; and may, if determined to be necessary, order the defendant to abide by specified
3333 6restrictions on personal associations or conduct including, but not limited to, avoiding all contact
3434 7with an alleged victim of the crime and any potential witness or witnesses who may testify
3535 8concerning the offense, as a condition of release.
3636 9 SECTION 3. Section 58B of chapter 276 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby
3737 10further amended by inserting, in line 2, after the figure “42A” the following figure: - , 57.
