29 | 29 | | 1 SECTION 1. Section 2 of Chapter 369 of the Acts of 2012 is hereby amended by adding |

31 | 31 | | 3 “Visiting qualifying patient”, a person who resides in another jurisdiction within the |
---|
32 | 32 | | 4United States that authorizes the medical use of marijuana who possesses a valid medical |
---|
33 | 33 | | 5marijuana certification from that other jurisdiction and photographic identification or a driver's |
---|
34 | 34 | | 6license from that jurisdiction. |

35 | 35 | | 7 SECTION 2. Chapter 369 of the Acts of 2012 is hereby amended by inserting, after |

36 | 36 | | 8section 17, the following section:- |

37 | 37 | | 9 Section 18. Visiting qualifying patients 2 of 2 |

38 | 38 | | 10 A visiting qualifying patient as defined in section 2 shall be afforded all the rights and |

39 | 39 | | 11protections granted to a qualifying patient under this act, provided, however, that section 11 of |

40 | 40 | | 12this act shall never apply to a visiting qualifying patient. |
