| 27 | 27 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |

| 29 | 29 | | 1 SECTION 1. Section 2 of Chapter 369 of the Acts of 2012 is hereby amended by adding |

| 30 | 30 | | 2the following definition:- |

| 31 | 31 | | 3 “Visiting qualifying patient”, a person who resides in another jurisdiction within the |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | 4United States that authorizes the medical use of marijuana who possesses a valid medical |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | 5marijuana certification from that other jurisdiction and photographic identification or a driver's |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 6license from that jurisdiction. |

| 35 | 35 | | 7 SECTION 2. Chapter 369 of the Acts of 2012 is hereby amended by inserting, after |

| 38 | 38 | | 10 A visiting qualifying patient as defined in section 2 shall be afforded all the rights and |
