2828 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2929 of the same, as follows:
3030 1 SECTION 1. Section 24 of Chapter 151A of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016
3131 2Official Edition, is hereby amended in subsection (a) by striking out in lines 3 and 4 the words
3232 3“Have been paid wages in the base period amounting to at least thirty times the weekly benefit
3333 4rate” and inserting in place thereof the following:-
3434 5 "Have been paid wages in at least two quarters of the base period amounting to at least
3535 6thirty times the weekly benefit rate".
