Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 1 SECTION 1. Chapter 270 of the acts of 1985 is hereby amended by striking out section 5 2and inserting in place thereof the following section:- 3 Section 5. Notwithstanding chapters 138, 140 or 148 of the General Laws or any other 4general or special law to the contrary, the town may, through its by-laws, delegate any licensing 5authority. 6 SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
