| 33 | 33 | | of the same, as follows: |

| 34 | 34 | | 1 SECTION 1. Notwithstanding section 3 of chapter 94G of the General Laws, section 5B |

| 35 | 35 | | 2of chapter 40, section 53 of chapter 44 of the General Laws, or any other general or special law |

| 36 | 36 | | 3to the contrary, the Town of Brookline is authorized to spend $500,000 from the Town’s |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | 4Marijuana Mitigation Stabilization Fund (consisting of funds derived from Host Community |
|---|
| 38 | 38 | | 5Agreement mitigation fees from licensed cannabis establishments) for the purpose of supporting |
|---|
| 39 | 39 | | 6projects, programs and initiatives that advance racial equity and racial justice within the |

| 40 | 40 | | 7Brookline community. Such monies shall be expended in conformity with Select Board |
