2626 An Act promoting a foundation for universal childcare.
2727 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2828 of the same, as follows:
2929 1 Section 3 of chapter 40A of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2020 Official Edition,
3030 2is hereby amended by striking out the fifth paragraph and inserting in place thereof the following
3131 3paragraph:-
3232 4 Family child care home and large family child care home, as defined in section 1A of
3333 5chapter 15D, shall be an allowable use and no city or town shall prohibit or regulate such use in a
3434 6private residence in its zoning ordinances or by-laws.
