The Commonwealth of Massachusetts _______________ In the One Hundred and Ninety-Third General Court (2023-2024) _______________ An Act relative to Massachusetts solar access law. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 1 Section 3 of Chapter 40A of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2020 Official Edition, 2is hereby amended by inserting in line 101, after the words "or welfare.", the following:- 3 A damage to the above listed "public health, safety and welfare" shall be proven in a 4court of law by local authorities that seek to restrict the use of solar systems attached to 5permanent buildings.
