| 27 | 27 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | of the same, as follows: |

| 29 | 29 | | 1 Section 51 of chapter 112 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2020 Official Edition, |

| 30 | 30 | | 2is hereby amended by inserting after the first instance of the words “adopted by the board,” the |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | 3following:- |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | 4 “A dental hygienist, under the direct supervision of a supervising dentist, may administer |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | 5botulinum toxins and or dermal fillers, provided they have received the same prescribed |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 6additional training in the administration of botulinum toxins and or dermal fillers as that of a |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 7dentist and approved by the board. A dental hygienist shall not administer botulinum toxins and |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 8or dermal fillers independently of a dentist.” |
