[SIMILAR MATTER FILED IN PREVIOUS SESSION SEE HOUSE, NO. 4813 OF 2021-2022.] The Commonwealth of Massachusetts _______________ In the One Hundred and Ninety-Third General Court (2023-2024) _______________ An Act relative to vaccines and preventing future disease outbreaks. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 1 Section 15 of chapter 76 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2020 Official Edition, 2is hereby amended by striking out the third paragraph and inserting in place thereof the following 32 paragraphs:- 4 All schools, whether public, private, or charter, that provide education to children in any 5combination of grade levels from kindergarten to grade 12, inclusive, shall annually report to the 6department total numbers of children who are successfully immunized in accordance with 7section 15 of chapter 76 and who are exempted from immunization requirements. The 8department shall designate the methodology for reporting. 2 of 2 9 The department shall annually publish and make publicly available aggregate 10immunizations and exemptions data for each school and school district, provided, that publishing 11and making publicly available such data shall not be required if it would result in disclosure of 12personal information as defined in section 1 of chapter 93H or otherwise violate applicable 13privacy laws. The department may also publish data by municipality, county, or other geographic 14designation, or otherwise in its discretion.
