2828 Resolve authorizing the study of cost of living increases for state police retirees.
2929 1 Resolved, Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, there shall be a
3030 2special commission to examine the feasibility of increases to Cost of Living Adjustments for
3131 3retirees of the Massachusetts State Police. The commission shall consist of the chairs of the joint
3232 4committee on public service, the executive director of the state retirement board, a member to be
3333 5appointed by the chair of the MA public employee retirement administration commission and the
3434 6president of MA retirees.
3535 7 Said commission shall report to the house and senate committees on ways and means the
3636 8results of its investigation recommendations together with drafts of legislation necessary to carry
3737 9said recommendations into effect, by filing the same with the clerks of the house of
3838 10representatives and senate on or before January 1, 2024.
