Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 1 SECTION 1. Section 64 of chapter 60 of the general laws is hereby amended by adding 2at the beginning of the first paragraph the following: - (a). 3 SECTION 2. Said section 64 of chapter 60 is further amended by adding the following 4new paragraph:- 5 (b) Notwithstanding paragraph (a) a taxpayer or his heirs, shall be entitled to the surplus 6from any sale of the property after the deduction of all costs, charges or expenses, taxes and 7interest owed.
