2626 An Act to promote high-impact community investment.
2727 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2828 of the same, as follows:
2929 1 SECTION 1: Section 38EE of Chapter 63 of the General Laws of 2020 is hereby
3030 2amended by striking section 38EE(i) and replacing it with the following:- "Section EE(i) The
3131 3department shall authorize the tax credits under this section. The total value of the tax credits
3232 4authorized in this section, together with those authorized in section 6M of chapter 62, shall not
3333 5exceed $12,000,000 in taxable years 2023 and 2024; and shall not exceed $15,000,000 in taxable
3434 6year 2025 and thereafter."
3535 7 SECTION 2: Section 6M of Chapter 62 of the General Laws of 2020 is hereby amended
3636 8by striking section 6M(i) and replacing it with the following:- "6M(i) The department shall
3737 9authorize the tax credits under this section. The total value of the tax credits authorized in this
3838 10section, together with those authorized in Section 38EE of Chapter 63, shall not exceed
3939 11$12,000,000 in taxable years 2023 and 2024; and shall not exceed $15,000,000 in taxable year
4040 122025 and thereafter."
