2525 An Act clarifying lobbying law violations.
2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2727 of the same, as follows:
2828 1 Section 45 of Chapter 3 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is
2929 2hereby amended
3030 3 by striking clause(m)and inserting in place thereof the following:
3131 4 “(m) The state secretary shall automatically disqualify a person convicted of a felony or
3232 5misdemeanor in violation of chapter 3, chapter 55 or chapter 268A or comparable offense under
3333 6federal law or the law of another state from registering as an executive or legislative agent for a
3434 7period of 10 years from the date of conviction".
