[SIMILAR MATTER FILED IN PREVIOUS SESSION SEE SENATE, NO. 2034 OF 2021-2022.] The Commonwealth of Massachusetts _______________ In the One Hundred and Ninety-Third General Court (2023-2024) _______________ An Act relative to increasing transparency in public construction. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 1 Section 8B of Chapter 81 of the General laws, is hereby amended by striking the third 2paragraph and replacing it with the following:- 3 "An application for a certificate of eligibility and update statements shall be considered a 4public record as defined by Section 7 of Chapter 4 except that financial information contained in 5the application shall not be a public record.".
