An Act making October 25th Dwarfism Awareness Day in the Commonwealth.
Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to 
establish forthwith October 25 as Dwarfism Awareness Day, therefore it is hereby declared to be 
an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority 
of the same, as follows:
1 Chapter 6 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 15LLLLLL 
2the following section:-
3 Section 15MMMMMM. The governor shall annually issue a proclamation setting apart 
4October 25 as National Dwarfism Day and shall recommend that the day be observed in an 
5appropriate manner by the people.
