| 31 | 31 | | 1 SECTION 1. Chapter 6 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2020 Official Edition, is |

| 32 | 32 | | 2hereby amended by inserting at the end thereof, the following new section:- |

| 33 | 33 | | 3 Section 15 CCCCCC. The governor shall annually issue a proclamation setting apart the |

| 34 | 34 | | 4second week of November as Massachusetts Drowsy Driving Prevention Week and |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 5recommending that such week be properly observed as a period of special attention to the need |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 6for public awareness and action relative to the problems of drowsy driving and driver fatigue. |

| 37 | 37 | | 7For purposes of this section “drowsy driving” or “driver fatigue” shall mean driving while being |
|---|
| 38 | 38 | | 8sleepy, tired, drowsy, or exhausted. |
