2828 An Act relative to the automatic renewal of professional licenses.
2929 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
3030 of the same, as follows:
3131 1 SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any license renewal application set forth in Chapter 112 of
3232 2the general laws, the division of professional licensure shall develop and implement an automatic
3333 3license renewal system for the professional licenses set forth in this chapter. The automatic
3434 4license renewal system shall be designed to notify licensed professionals of an upcoming license
3535 5expiration date and offer the ability to automatically renew the license online, wherever possible.
3636 6 SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect immediately upon its passage.
