2727 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2828 of the same, as follows:
2929 1 Chapter 6 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 15LLLLLL
3030 2the following section:-
3131 3 Section 15MMMMMM. The governor shall annually issue a proclamation setting apart
3232 4the month of September as Polycystic Ovary Syndrome Awareness Month to increase citizens'
3333 5awareness of the most common endocrine (hormone) disorder in women, in order to lead to
3434 6better education and thus earlier diagnoses, intervention and care. The proclamation shall
3535 7recommend that the month of September be observed in an appropriate manner by the people.
