2626 An Act relative to fairness in public contracting.
2727 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2828 of the same, as follows:
2929 1 Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the division of highways, as
3030 2established by Section 37 of Chapter 6C of the General Laws, is hereby directed to amend its
3131 3standard specifications, supplemental specifications, special provisions, and contract documents
3232 4to provide for a minimum of 15 percent for overhead for work deemed to be additional work or
3333 5extra work.
