An Act relative to net metering fairness.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority 
of the same, as follows:
1 Section 9 (j) of Chapter 75 of the Acts of 2016 is hereby amended by striking the first 
2sentence of the third paragraph and inserting at the beginning of the paragraph:- "The department 
3shall exempt any monthly minimum reliability contribution for low-income ratepayers and 
4community solar ratepayers. The department may exempt or modify any monthly minimum 
5reliability contribution for municipal ratepayers."
