|---|
| 28 | 28 | | of the same, as follows: |

| 29 | 29 | | 1 SECTION 1. Section 6 of chapter 25A of the General Laws is hereby amended by |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | 2inserting after clause (14), inserted by section 31 of chapter 8 of the Acts of 2021, the following |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | 32 clauses:- |

| 32 | 32 | | 4 (15) develop and incorporate into the specialized stretch energy code developed and |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | 5promulgated pursuant to clause (14), in consultation with the board of building regulations and |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 6standards, requirements for mandatory solar photovoltaic panel installation for all buildings |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 7deemed suitable for installation by the department. Develop and incorporate into the stretch |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 8energy code requirements for buildings to be made PV Ready for all buildings deemed suitable |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | 9for future installation by the department; and |
|---|
| 38 | 38 | | 10 (16) The base code shall include all provisions of the stretch energy code related to the |

| 39 | 39 | | 11latest International Energy Conservation Code, together with any more stringent energy- |
|---|

| 44 | 44 | | 16specialized stretch energy code, as developed and promulgated pursuant to clause (14) of section |
