| 31 | 31 | | 1 SECTION 1. Chapter 112 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2020 Official Edition, |

| 32 | 32 | | 2is hereby amended by inserting, after section 76B the following section:- |

| 33 | 33 | | 3 Section 76C. The board of registration in nursing shall create a waiver program for |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 4military personnel who satisfactorily complete medical training offered through the military so |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 5that they may sit for the licensed practical nursing certification without the need to graduate from |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 6an approved practical nursing program. |

| 37 | 37 | | 7 SECTION 2. The department of public health shall promulgate regulations no later than |

| 38 | 38 | | 8January 1, 2024. |
