2626 An Act relative to veteran employment opportunities.
2727 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2828 of the same, as follows:
2929 1 Chapter 115 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2020 Official Edition, is hereby
3030 2amended by inserting after Section 2C the following:-
3131 3 Section 2D. Program to further enhance employment opportunities and outcomes among
3232 4veterans
3333 5 The commissioner shall authorize reimbursement to Veterans for costs associated with
3434 6taking municipal civil service exams. The commissioner shall authorize no more than three
3535 7reimbursements per Veteran, provided further, no reimbursement shall be authorized if the
3636 8Veteran fails a subsequent exam. The commissioner shall engage with interested stakeholders
3737 9and organizations that provide services to veterans in the development of the program.
