27 | 27 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |

29 | 29 | | 1 Chapter 115 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2020 Official Edition, is hereby |

30 | 30 | | 2amended by inserting after Section 2C the following:- |

31 | 31 | | 3 Section 2D. Program to further enhance employment opportunities and outcomes among |
---|
32 | 32 | | 4veterans |
---|
33 | 33 | | 5 The commissioner shall authorize reimbursement to Veterans for costs associated with |
---|
34 | 34 | | 6taking municipal civil service exams. The commissioner shall authorize no more than three |
---|
35 | 35 | | 7reimbursements per Veteran, provided further, no reimbursement shall be authorized if the |
---|
36 | 36 | | 8Veteran fails a subsequent exam. The commissioner shall engage with interested stakeholders |
---|
37 | 37 | | 9and organizations that provide services to veterans in the development of the program. |
