2727 An Act exempting veterans from civil service exam fees.
2828 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2929 of the same, as follows:
3030 1 SECTION 1. Subsection (n) of section 5 of chapter 31 of the General Laws as appearing
3131 2in the 2020 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “instances” in line 61
3232 3the following words:- "provided that a veteran shall not be charged any fee for any examination
3333 4provided by this chapter."
3434 5 SECTION 2. Section 20 of said chapter 31, as so appearing, is hereby amended by
3535 6inserting after the word “four” in line 7 the following words:- "provided, however, that a veteran
3636 7shall not be charged any fee for any examination provided by this chapter."
