| 27 | 27 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | of the same, as follows: |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | 1 Section 51 of chapter 112 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2020 Official Edition, |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | 2is hereby amended by inserting after the third paragraph, the following paragraph:- |

| 31 | 31 | | 3 The board may, without examination upon payment of a fee determined annually by the |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | 4commissioner of administration under the provision of section three B of chapter seven, register |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | 5and issue a dental hygienist license to a dentist who has been lawfully in practice for at least five |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 6years in another state, country, or province if he presents to the board a certificate of registration |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 7and duration of practice from an out-of-state board of dental examiners or other like registration |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 8entity of such state, country, or province; provided, that such other jurisdiction shall require a |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | 9degree of competency as determined by the board equal to that required of applicants in this |
|---|
| 38 | 38 | | 10commonwealth. |
