2727 An Act establishing a sick leave bank for Jason Barone-Cichocki, an employee of the
2828 Massachusetts Department of Transportation.
2929 Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to
3030 establish forthwith a sick leave bank for a certain employee of the Massachusetts Department of
3131 Transportation, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the
3232 immediate preservation of the public convenience.
3333 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
3434 of the same, as follows:
3535 1 Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the Massachusetts
3636 2Department of Transportation shall establish a sick leave bank for Jason Barone-Cichocki, an
3737 3employee of the department. Any employee of the department may voluntarily contribute 1 or
3838 4more sick, personal or vacation days to the sick leave bank for use by Jason Barone-Cichocki. If
3939 5Jason Barone-Cichocki terminates employment with the department or requests to dissolve the
4040 6sick leave bank, any remaining time in the sick leave bank shall be transferred to the extended
4141 7illness leave bank. Sick leave bank days shall not be used for absences unrelated to the illness or
4242 8disability that necessitated the establishment of the sick leave bank as determined by the
4343 9department.
