2626 An Act relative to the expansion of the residential tax exemption in the town of Provincetown.
2727 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2828 of the same, as follows:
2929 1 SECTION 1. Section 1 of chapter 25 of the acts of 2018 is hereby amended by striking
3030 2out the words “or (ii)” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- (ii) not more than 4
3131 3units of a residential multi-unit parcel occupied by either the taxpayer of the property and used as
3232 4their principal residence for income tax purposes or a resident of the town of Provincetown, who
3333 5occupies the unit on a year-round rental basis and is used as their principal residence for income
3434 6tax purposes; or (iii).
3535 7 SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
