27 | 27 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |
---|
28 | 28 | | of the same, as follows: |
---|
29 | 29 | | 1 SECTION 1. Section 1 of chapter 25 of the acts of 2018 is hereby amended by striking |
---|
30 | 30 | | 2out the words “or (ii)” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- (ii) not more than 4 |
---|
31 | 31 | | 3units of a residential multi-unit parcel occupied by either the taxpayer of the property and used as |
---|
32 | 32 | | 4their principal residence for income tax purposes or a resident of the town of Provincetown, who |
---|
33 | 33 | | 5occupies the unit on a year-round rental basis and is used as their principal residence for income |
---|
34 | 34 | | 6tax purposes; or (iii). |
---|
35 | 35 | | 7 SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
