| 30 | 30 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | of the same, as follows: |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | 1 SECTION 1. Notwithstanding section 15 of chapter 54 of the General Laws or any other |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | 2general or special law to the contrary, the town moderator in the town of Monson may act as an |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 3election officer for any state or presidential primary or state election; provided, however, that |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 4said town moderator shall not act as an election officer where their name appears on the ballot. |

| 36 | 36 | | 5 SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage. |
