Reyes for legislation to establish a sick leave bank for Seila Chhav, an employee of the Trial Court. The Judiciary. The Commonwealth of Massachusetts _______________ In the One Hundred and Ninety-Third General Court (2023-2024) _______________ An Act establishing a sick leave bank for Seila Chhav, an employee of the Trial Court.. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 1 Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the Massachusetts Trial Court 2shall establish a sick leave bank for Seila Chhav, an employee of the Trial Court. Any employee 3of the Massachusetts Trial Court may voluntarily contribute one or more sick, personal, or 4vacation days to the sick leave bank for use by Seila Chhav. If Seila Chhav terminates 5employment with the Trial Court or requests to dissolve the sick leave bank, any remaining time 6in the sick leave bank shall be transferred to the Trial Court-paid leave bank. Sick leave bank 7days shall not be used for absences unrelated to the illness or disability that necessitated the 8establishment of the sick leave bank as determined by the Massachusetts Trial Court.
