| 14 | 14 | | Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | establish forthwith a sick leave bank for a certain employee of the trial court of the |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | commonwealth, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | immediate preservation of the public convenience. |

| 18 | 18 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | of the same, as follows: |

| 20 | 20 | | 1 Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the trial court of the |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | 2commonwealth shall establish a sick leave bank for Tiffany Brennan, an employee of the trial |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | 3court. Any employee of the trial court may voluntarily contribute 1 or more sick, personal or |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | 4vacation days to the sick leave bank for use by Tiffany Brennan. If Tiffany Brennan terminates |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | 5employment with the trial court or requests to dissolve the sick leave bank, any remaining time |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | 6in the sick leave bank shall be transferred to the trial court paid leave bank. Sick leave bank days |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | 7shall not be used for absences unrelated to the illness or disability that necessitated the |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | 8establishment of the sick leave bank as determined by the trial court. |
