30 | 30 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |
---|
31 | 31 | | of the same, as follows: |
---|
32 | 32 | | 1 Notwithstanding section 17 of Chapter 138 of the General Laws or any other general or |
---|
33 | 33 | | 2special rule or regulation to the contrary, the licensing authority of the Town of Pembroke may |
---|
34 | 34 | | 3grant one (1) additional license for the retail of alcohol beverages under section 15 of said |
---|
35 | 35 | | 4Chapter 138 to be exercised at and located at South Shore Market and Deli, 256 Church Street |
---|
36 | 36 | | 5(Parcel ID: G15-38). A license granted under this section shall be subjected to all of said Chapter |
---|
37 | 37 | | 6138 except said section 17. |
---|
38 | 38 | | 7 Once issued, the licensing authority shall not approve the transfer of the license issued |
---|
39 | 39 | | 8under subsection (a) to any other locations, but it may grant the license to a new applicant at the |
---|
40 | 40 | | 9same location if the applicant files with the authority a letter from the Department of Revenue |
---|
41 | 41 | | 10and a letter from the Department of Unemployment Assistance indicating the license is in good 2 of 2 |
---|
42 | 42 | | 11standing with those departments and that all applicable taxes, fees, and contributions have been |
---|
43 | 43 | | 12paid. |
---|
44 | 44 | | 13 If the license granted under this section is cancelled, revoked, or no longer in use, it shall |
---|
45 | 45 | | 14be returned physically, with all of the legal rights, privileges, and restrictions pertaining thereto, |
---|
46 | 46 | | 15to the licensing authority, which may then grant the license to a new applicant at the same or |
---|
47 | 47 | | 16different location. |
