2828 An Act directing the city of Boston Police Department to waive the maximum age requirement
2929 for police officer for Maugelin Verdieu.
3030 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
3131 of the same, as follows:
3232 1 SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, including the
3333 2provisions of Chapter 43 of the Acts of 2007, the city of Boston Police Department shall waive
3434 3the maximum age requirement for original appointment of police officers for Maugelin Verdieu.
3535 4If Maugelin Verdieu meets all other requirements set forth by the Boston Police Department, he
3636 5shall be eligible to have his name certified for original appointment to the position of police
3737 6officer.
3838 7 SECTION 2. The provisions of this act are severable and if any provision, or portion
3939 8thereof, should be held to be unconstitutional or otherwise invalid by any court of competent
4040 9jurisdiction, such unconstitutionality or invalidity shall not affect the remaining provisions,
4141 10which remain in full force and effect.
4242 11 SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
