34 | 34 | | 1 Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the executive office shall |

35 | 35 | | 2report to the house and senate committees on ways and means, not later than 90 days after the |
---|
36 | 36 | | 3effective date of this act, on the availability of a waiver and, if applicable, the estimated net state |

37 | 37 | | 4cost of a waiver that would allow individuals qualifying for Medicaid and at risk of entering a |
---|
38 | 38 | | 5nursing home to reside in a certified assisted living residence. The executive office of health and |

39 | 39 | | 6human services may request a waiver from the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid |
