| 27 | 27 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | of the same, as follows: |

| 29 | 29 | | 1 Chapter 54 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 48A the |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | 2following section:- |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | 3 Section 48B. (a) The state secretary shall provide, in a form suitable for posting in every |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | 4polling place for every election, a summary of (1) the reasons a voter may be asked to show |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | 5identification when checking-in at their polling place and (2) the acceptable forms of |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 6identification, pursuant to section 76B of chapter 54, 950 CMR 52, and 950 CMR 54, as they |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 7may be amended from time to time. The state secretary shall also include said summary on the |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 8electronic website of the state secretary. |

| 37 | 37 | | 9 (b) Said summary shall be posted conspicuously and no smaller than 8.5 × 11 inches at |
