2727 An Act relative to the pesticide board.
2828 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2929 of the same, as follows:
3030 1 Section 3 of chapter 132B of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2020 Official Edition,
3131 2is hereby amended by striking paragraph 5 and inserting in place thereof, the following
3232 3paragraph:-
3333 4 The board, in addition to other powers conferred in this chapter, shall advise the
3434 5commissioner of food and agriculture with respect to the implementation and administration of
3535 6this chapter. The commissioner of food and agriculture shall consult and concur with the
3636 7commissioner of environmental protection and commissioner of public health when rendering a
3737 8decision under section 13 of this chapter, relative to the protection of groundwater sources of
3838 9drinking water from pesticide contamination.
