2626 An Act to establish a free snowmobile weekend.
2727 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2828 of the same, as follows:
2929 1 Chapter 90B of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 22 the
3030 2following section:-
3131 3 Section XX. “In conjunction with the Snowmobile Association of Massachusetts, or its
3232 4successor organization, a three-day “free snowmobile weekend” shall be established annually by
3333 5the Massachusetts Office of Law Enforcement on a mutually agreeable weekend during the
3434 6winter snowmobiling season. For the purposes of this section a “free snowmobile weekend” is
3535 7defined as Friday, Saturday, Sunday during which Massachusetts snowmobile registration and
3636 8Trail Pass provided by the Snowmobile Association of Massachusetts or its appendant clubs is
3737 9not required for non-residents to operate snowmobiles on public lands, or private lands under
3838 10agreement with the Snowmobile Association of Massachusetts or its appendant clubs, provided
3939 11said non-resident has proof of a valid registration in any state or Canadian province”.
