32 | 32 | | 1 An individual or group health insurance policy providing prescription drug coverage in |
---|
33 | 33 | | 2the state must permit and apply a pro-rated daily cost-sharing rate to prescriptions dispensed by a |
---|
34 | 34 | | 3network pharmacy for a partial supply if the prescriber or pharmacist determines the fill or refill |
---|
35 | 35 | | 4to be in the best interest of the patient and the patient requests or agrees to a partial supply for the |
---|
36 | 36 | | 5purpose of synchronizing the patient’s medications. |
---|
37 | 37 | | 6 No individual or group health insurance policy providing prescription drug coverage shall |
---|
38 | 38 | | 7deny coverage for the dispensing of a medication by a network pharmacy on the basis that the |
---|
39 | 39 | | 8dispensing is for a partial supply if the prescriber or pharmacist determines the fill or refill to be |
---|
40 | 40 | | 9in the best interest of the patient and the patient requests or agrees to a partial supply for the |
---|
41 | 41 | | 10purpose of synchronizing the patient’s medications. The individual or group health plan must 2 of 2 |
