2828 An Act establishing a healthcare insurance premium payment pool for working families.
2929 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
3030 of the same, as follows:
3131 1 SECTION 1. Section 3 of chapter 176Q of the General Laws is hereby amended by
3232 2inserting at the end thereof the following new subsection:-
3333 3 (w) to facilitate a private sector method for the collection of health insurance premium
3434 4payments made for a health benefit plan by multiple payers, including the policyholder, one or
3535 5more employers of one or more individuals covered by the policy, government programs, and
3636 6others by educating employers and insurers about collection services available through a
3737 7vendor(s).
