2929 An Act to increase transparency in the Massachusetts land record systems to protect the property
3030 rights of homeowners and businesses.
3131 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
3232 of the same, as follows:
3333 1 Section 6 D of chapter 183 is hereby amended by adding the following,
3434 2 "Each assignment of mortgage secured by residential property, as defined in said section
3535 31 of chapter 255E, Shall be forwarded within thirty days of the date of the execution of said
3636 4assignment to the appropriate registry district for recording."
