| 27 | 27 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | of the same, as follows: |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | 1 SECTION 1. The Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife shall amend its |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | 2regulations to grant priority access to Antlerless Deer Permits (ADPs) for veteran hunters who |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | 3have a disability certified by the VA. In areas where the demand for ADPs exceeds the available |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | 4permits, certified disabled veteran hunters shall be guaranteed the issuance of an ADP before any |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | 5other applicants. |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 6 SECTION 2. The Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife shall establish an |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 7application process for certified disabled veteran hunters to apply for priority ADPs. This process |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 8shall include criteria for certifying disability status and the procedures for applying for these |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | 9permits. |
|---|
| 38 | 38 | | 10 SECTION 3. This act shall take effect immediately upon its passage. |
