2626 An Act addressing noise issues of migratory game hunters near coastal dwellings.
2727 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2828 of the same, as follows:
2929 1 SECTION 1. Section 58 of chapter 131 of the General Laws is hereby amended by
3030 2inserting the following words after "thereof.":-
3131 3 "Provided further that any persons hunting migratory game birds from a watercraft or any
3232 4boat or floating device propelled by sail, steam, naphtha, gasoline, electricity, compressed air or
3333 5similar motive power, shall not discharge any firearm within one thousand feet of the coastal
3434 6shoreline."
3535 7 SECTION 2. Section 65 of chapter 131 of the General Law is hereby amended by
3636 8inserting the following words after "blind":- ", provided further that any water craft used for said
3737 9hunting purposes shall not be within one thousand feet of the coastal shoreline;"
