2828 An Act relative to a cranberry water use transfer program.
2929 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
3030 of the same, as follows:
3131 1 Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the Executive Office of
3232 2Energy and Environmental Affairs shall provide authorization that cranberry water use
3333 3registrations and permits issued pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 21G can be used for mitigation by
3434 4other municipal permitted or registered users within the same watershed, provided that users
3535 5obtain the appropriate registrations and permits issued pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 21G for the
3636 6new water use.
